hallo every1!!!

had my 1st scrapbook lesson todae...was realli fUN!! all girls should try this.

ther were abt 9 of us in de class...average 20 yrs old. got tis little "angmoh" girl called JULIA, she came alone...mom went shopping i guess hehee. ther is tis other gal, hmm...how 2 say leh...both me n chris feel dat she reminds us of this student in our school...eh...better not to mention de names la hor...

anywae, started with some theory, like why scrapbooking? and what are the different types of paper, intro to de different tools, etc......all of us get to choose 3 papers of our choice. we are asked to choose papers dat go well with the color scheme of our photos (all of us brought 3-4 photos along)...since the photos i brought r my childhood photos and look "antique", i chose papers with de so-called-"rusty" feel. it's basically brownish-reddish-greenish...with poka-dots and stripes.

had so much fun playing with de tools...beside de scissors n cutters, there's also the HAMMER. we need to hit quite hard and it's fun cos it's like a way to vent out all de angerr n stuff...haha...de teacher looked quite worried when she saw all of us hit n hit n hit so loudly. hahaha

i was the slowest there...keep changing my mind u see...but however, it's JUZ so satisfying to see the end-products after almost 3 hous of hardwork.....gonna do more of this in future. might even consider taking de advanced classes...but $$ is a prob...cos it's a real expensive hobby...but yet it's a very meaningful hobby as we can decorate n preserve photos which we cherish so much.....p.s. my parents r so happy to see wat i did...n end up digging out ALL the old pics....

in de end, bought a 1-hr scrapbook set (cost me $69.9)...gonna finish it by end of this month (target target)!!
